Group Policy Default Settings for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop That Changed Between 7.18 and 1808

Computer XenApp Settings:

  • Remove Display mode degrade preference
  • Rename Enable XenApp Optimization to Enable Citrix Virtual Apps Optimization
  • Remove Image caching
  • Remove Legacy graphics mode
  • Remove Notify user when display mode is degraded
  • Rename Path to XenApp optimization definitions: to Path to Citrix Virtual Apps optimization definitions:
  • Remove Persistent cache threshold
  • Remove Queuing and tossing
  • Remove Rendezvous Protocol
  • Add Profile container – List of folders to be contained in profile disk – Disabled

  • Add Graphic status indicator – Disabled
  • Removed Extra color compression threshold
  • Removed Minimum image quality
  • Removed Moving image compression
  • Removed Progressive compression level
  • Removed Progressive compression threshold value
